THE REALIZATION OF A MAN’S BELIEF!

For a man, patiently lying in wait is what he stands for; where it swings him is hinged on the power of consistency. A risk the feeble-minded may never want to take, which has since giving birth to a character that has continued to multiply prostitution in every facet of our political standing in this part of the world even as it keeps breeding insincerity, disloyalty, over-ambitiousness and hate!

Much can be said about Honorable Emeka Nwajiuba. Holding sacrosanct his beliefs, the Ehime/Mbano born Lawyer, and a one-time Member of the Federal House of Representatives. Honorable Nwaijuba holds firm his ideologies, though not on the pathway of rigidity. His dreams, which are inspired and founded on the strength of what he stands for. He follows his heart-led principles and ideals to its logical end. Walking through challenges, pains and joy, adamantly Emeka’s patience carries him through, it works out somehow!

After the victory of the APC Presidential candidate, General Muhammad Buhari, at the recently concluded elections in Nigeria. Emeka’s umuezeala Ehime/Mbano country home became a mecca of some sort. Imo virtually celebrated with Emeka, from all its corners, men and women of different classes and types all trooped to felicitate with a man that they have always seen and known as the only true face and voice of Buhari, now President-elect, that they have always known.

Over so many years, as a committed follower of Buhari, Honorable Nwaijuba kept intact the Buhari legacy, while personally spear-heading all of Buhari’s political interest in Imo state. ANPP, CPC etc. He always brought his strengths into the Buhari campaigns. Becoming a master in the art of supporting Buhari; in defeat he stood and remained consistent, dauntless, even mockeries nor attempts to woo him by PDP friends or foes couldn’t stop the determination of this man to propagate the Buhari agenda, which later became a movement!

In the campaigns ahead of the 2015 Presidential polls in Nigeria. Political pundits in Imo state, swinging an unseen pendulum, gave it to President Goodluck Jonathan, but Emeka in his usual tenacity, like a lone voice in the desert, not only was he resolute. He took the Buhari campaign to some higher level, far above the comprehension of an APC-controlled Imo state. His campaigns were technical, personal and blunt! He knew what he wanted, and pursued it with vigor and passion. He mobilized the immobile! Empowered the weak to realize the Nigerian dream of a true manifestation of “change”. A passion he shares with the President-elect. And closely walking with him this far, together they finally realize a dream come true; the Nigerian dream and a man’s belief!

Maybe easier than said; in Imo state, it was more than an election. It was made a gladiators arena for power play, anyone could get hurt, just the PDP way! But Honorable Emeka Nwajiuba’s unhidden passion and contributions towards the Buhari project made a meaningful difference. Fearless, for him nothing could stop this drive. And nothing stopped it! Nothing stopped the realization of a man’s belief to the Buhari course!

PRINCE MADUMERE THE BEST DEPUTY GOVENOR IN IMO STATE HISTORY

MADUMERE CONTINUES FROM WHERE HE STOPPED!

Maybe in some other context, one may ask, did he ever stop? Considering the volcanic leadership role played past the recently concluded elections, which must have taken a great deal of activeness from a man to have successfully achieved so much during the said elections. Unrelenting in his struggle and believes, Prince Eze Madumere just kept digging till he got gold! A sweet victory, not for himself but the interest of the Imo people, initiated by his boss, the Executive Governor of Imo state, His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha!

Madumere has returned to his ever busy schedule of working tirelessly; since after the elections. Still excavating anomalies in the polity to install a desired Imo. With so much trust on him, Owelle assigns so much to him. As the capability to run a politically charged state like Imo has long enveloped his personality. Madumere is tough, humble and intelligent! These great qualities of leadership have again been returned by the second-coming of the best Deputy Governor in the South-East. Imo surely is on the right track!

Taking a peep into his antecedence, he can be termed to be workaholic in nature or maybe the huge rot they met on assumption of office in the year 2011 may have played a big role in making him work so much to clean up the mess, or probably in an attempt to catch up with his boss’s pace and an untiring leadership demands may have propelled him into becoming workaholic by making! Whichever way it is, Imo continues to get better for it and the man, Prince Eze Madumere, continues likewise to grow bigger and popular politically! Principled in nature, he just can’t stop doing what he knows how to do best, solving problems!

In the absence of the Governor and Governor-elect, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, whose larger interest for the good of Igbo’s and his current leadership role in National politics on who gets what in the newly elected APC Federal Government often requires his absence, at least before the May 29th hand-over date, Madumere prolifically holds forth. Seeing how much appreciation he got at the NYSC ground in Umudi Nkwerre L.G.A, where he represented the Governor and Governor-elect at the official opening and swearing-in ceremony of the orientation course for 2015 batch “A” Corp members deployed to Imo state, it symbolizes a lot! Little wonder the much love that continues to come the way of this leadership icon from his boss, the people and from his staffs at the Office of the Deputy Governor, indeed like his boss, he is a true man of the people!

Simplicity is the word for a man that holds an exalted position as that of the Deputy Governor and Deputy Governor –elect. Not proud nor arrogant, Prince Eze Madumere has consistently maintained his humble background. Even after being re-elected, the Imo state Deputy Governor-elect and Deputy Governor walks still on the path of respect and anti-discrimination for all men, as shown when he made a surprise stop-over at the burial of a youth in Orsu Local Government Area. Just passing by, he was informed it was the burial of a dedicated APC youth. Being an APC leader, he stopped by to honor the dead.

Prince Madumere like Owelle Rochas Okorocha, is in the habit of practicing exemplary leadership. Strictly about the people and for the people. And the great news is that both Madumere and his boss have not changed, they seem poised to do even more this time around. His Excellency, Prince Eze Madumere did so much over the last four years to support his boss to great success. This time around he has continued from where he stopped before the elections, refusing to hold back! Imo belongs to all of us. Support the Okorocha/Madumere team for a better Imo! So much sacrifices attached to one man; some may call him names, but most paramount on his mind is an undying love for Imo through the heart of a most adorable leader and mentor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha. Anything to see to the success of his boss means everything to him. At odds point he wriggles past it, always getting answers that end up useful to the course of building a new and better Imo state!

Prince Eze Madumere is not like the rest; under lock and key in the safest part of his mind is kept the ladder of leadership handed down to him by his mentor. Thoughts of which motivates the driving force and unquestionable loyalty that continue to characterize and trail his blazing profile as a Deputy. Many may attempt to downsize his qualities as Owelle’s Deputy, true to the words, he is just more than a mere assistant to the Imo state Governor. He is a confidant, a shield and a most reliable Adviser to the Governor! Emitting from the Deputy Governor are sweats that define a man’s level of work on an ever so demanding political pedestal yet achieving so much to the delight of his boss and the Imo people!

The building process to the recently concluded 2015 polls was no different. Madumere was yet again his sacrificial self, conveying his never say never spirit into a stretched effort that produced a premeditated victory. He knew it was coming; he only needed to put the right machinery on ground to avert the unexpected. Guess the greatest undoing of Owelle’s opponents was underestimating the force expected from the Governor’s deputy, as he happened to be a game changer!

Focused on achieving election success, the Imo state Deputy Governor closed the door to frivolities, telling all who came around to let him be, mandating them to go deliver their booths. Being on his toes, he drove men and women to their toes, as many were inspired by his magnanimous leadership purposefulness to support the Owelle/Madumere ticket. The characteristic of the Imo state Deputy Governor changed to reveal the resilience and thickness of a man’s skin to the disillusioned advances of the PDP! Though his dedicated work towards the election victory did come with its own scars, the Mbeiri-born Prince refused to be intimidated instead increased a determination that finally saw APC coast to victory!

Analytically from the home front, prior to the 2015 general elections, Prince Madumere was way ahead of others in preparations. Realizing the need to start early he instituted the Owerri zonal meeting, which its venue was at his official residence in Owerri. Beyond that, he ensured that all hands were on deck. Assignments were created and given to people in mobilizing the electorates. While his boss, Owelle Rochas Okorocha was away, he led the State wide campaign, which its impact cannot be over emphasized!

In his Federal Constituency, Mbaitoli-Ikeduru, the number two citizen designed a marshal plan to ward off enemies. Realizing that every politics is local, he directed everyone to now relocate to their hometowns so as to handle objections created by the propaganda from the opposition. Mbaitoli was littered with land mines as PDP and other opposition parties fielded candidates from virtually every kindred. This was one mountain that seemed insurmountable but Madumere as a team player led the deadliest onslaught against the army of opposition and got them drawn in the political Mediterranean sea! 

Currently aiding his post-election walk is a walking stick, though he had a choice; he preferred to stand to it! Like the proverbial saying: “if you claim to have worked so hard with no perspiration, you have not started”. Though Madumere came out scathed, the placating nature of victory was enough balm to sooth whatever pain incurred from the volatility of the elections. In quote, he said: if it would mean I lose my leg for us to win the elections, I would!

To describe the Owelle/Madumere partnership as the best Governor and Deputy Team ever in the history of Imo state can also be likened to calling Prince Eze Madumere the most active Deputy ever to be produced in the annals of Imo history. The no holds bar relationship between Owelle and his Deputy enables so much love propagation for these two respectively, giving room to a double-faceted structure coming together to form one indivisible political structure dreaded by the opponents and loved by the people!

Quietly he continues to penetrate the psyche of the people with his good efforts. Not playing to the gallery, Madumere keeps engaging his capacity as the Imo state Deputy Governor to touch lives and ensure that the Governor’s dream for the Imo people is realized! Yes, the elections have come and gone, but this term begins the germination process of a man’s seed! The foundation has been laid, now the building process starts; a brighter future indeed it is! Reward for hard-work is more hard-work! Today’s return of rescue mission will justify what happens in 2019!
