The name Prince EzeMadumere is supersonically-fast becoming synonymous with “conflict resolution”. A man who spends a considerable part of his time to resolve anomalies that tend to derail the ongoing development process carried out by his boss and mentor, His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha. Not only is Madumere gradually injecting his nature and character into the administration of his political father. He conveys the middleman approach between Government and its people. Grievances and misunderstandings from any sector gets his speedy attention, in a bid to clearly avoid the premeditated intentions by political no-goods whose desire is to destroy an existing smooth flow of progress and development in all facets of the Imo political and economic standing.

Like the IPMAN Owerri(Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria Owerri chapter) crisis that almost grounded Imo state to a halt until the swift and timely intervention of the most reliable mediator, and the 2012Orsu’Obodo/Addax oil conflict which once again required the mediating mastery of the “Special Deputy” to avert an up-rise in kidnaps and communal restiveness. Same was the case, after the 2014 Imo state APC primaries. Some aggrieved aspirants who felt shortchanged, threatened fire and brimstones against the party, vowing to work against all of the party’s interest. But again, like always, Prince EzeMadumere came in handy! His adept touch, the “give-and-take resolution”, gave both the winners and the losers some concrete political hope, which saw the accommodation of everyone’s intereston a platform that re-united everyone and got the party firing at top cylinder during the just concluded elections!

The Imo state Deputy Governor was at it again when artfully with great control over stormy issues, he came unannounced into the IBC (Imo Broadcasting Corporation) quarters. Armed with a pre-information of a purported protest against the Imo Government over some misinformed salary issue. True to it, the protest was already ongoing. But his arrival ignited the magic wand which automatically doused the situation on ground. Even though the protest had commenced, like expected, his intervention produced a new normal in less than an hour, ending a protest that was just about to take a rougher dimension, as work immediately began in earnest!

That is the much air that a rare man like Prince EzeMadumere brings into the polity. With the somewhat sumptuous air of development currently spreading all over Imo state, discharging an aura of beauty that gives Imo a new identity in the comity of states. A leadership gem like the Imo state Deputy Governor can do a lot good bringing his mediating prowess to bare in tranquilizing disintegrating issues that tend to deviate the course of development.

                     A LEGACY THAT KEEPS GETTING STRONGER AT 51!

The Imo state Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Prince Eze Madumere, a phenomenon! With a variety of admirable personality bouquet. He has over years as a political colossus succeeded in enacting his character into the warm embrace of the general populace, both within and outside Imo state. As Imo state Deputy Governor, the power that comes with it is mingled with Madumere’s uncommon humility, which ordinariness the Office, for the sake of accommodating perceived ordinary people in our society. Motivated by a desire to give instant audience to the plights of the people, especially considering the hyper-enterprising working nature of his boss.

Prince Eze Madumere, a man favored by chance, tenacity and the good-will of his boss, Owelle Rochas Okorocha. Who has from time memorial continued to keep faith with a man he prefers to call his political son. Massively contributing to the complete making of this great life, even as all the opportunities that have come his way seem enshrouded in the divine mercy of God!

Singing the song of this gallant UN-pretentious leader at a time like this is saying the least. The Prince of Mbaike deserves more than the eulogies that currently rent the air in celebration of God’s grace upon him with yet another year added to his age. The people-oriented projects that have characterized Imo state; students that have been giving the hope of a better future through free education; the less-privileged children, that now have a father in the duo of Rochas and Madumere. These and many more seeds of love and care for humanity, consistently stand as the connecting point between the out pour of the heavens and earth upon this man! Like the humorous local maxim says: “yawuruala, o no na site” (if he were to be a land, it’s in a good site). Coming just as Imolites would have wanted him, he comes in an even better pack! With a heart that keeps translating leadership into practicable and see able development, “seeing, they say is believing, abi”. Assisting Owelle extradites his comfort and privacy for the well being of the Imo people and the satisfaction of an equally workaholic boss!

Applying measures to meet with the exigencies of this difficult period reviews the amount of creativity in the leadership of a state. Something Imo state can boast of having in abundance in the leadership of Owelle and Madumere. The two heads have come to be “one” special force that breaks stubborn walls against the developmental interest of Imolites.

Social commentator’s analytic discretion should be applied in understanding that it is almost as difficult as the word itself to separate the two, Owelle and Madumere. The political Siamese marriage between father and son adheres this union. OwelleRochasOkorocha made Prince EzeMadumere, while Prince EzeMadumere makes OwelleRochasOkorocha! That is what the Prince of Mbaike kingdom can bring into a responsibility given, bringing his best! “God gives and God takes”. Something’s may have been taking from him. Like every human, over years he has had his fair share of the challenges of life. But in them all, like a strong-willed leader, he overcomes! Coming out stronger to administer creative leadership like never experienced!

For sure it’s no coincidence. As America is been celebrated, our admirable Deputy Governor is also been celebrated, “Greatness, they say, walk together”! At 51, like the Yankees would say: Imo, Youaint seen nothing yet! Prince EzeMadumere has only just started, the best is yet to come! God bless you Sir. Happy Birthday!

THE UN-DOCTORED ASSERTION OF A MEDICAL DOCTOR

Being faced with somewhat difficult challenges characterize the medical profession. Handling these life-saving challenges speak volume of a doctor’s professional status, good or bad! It defines or contradicts a professional calling, clarifying an in-depth or partial knowledge which in turn exposes the high and low points of a professional career.A high-point that augurs well for mankind; not just about saving lives but giving value back to these lives through the sublimity of hospitality, just exactly what people crave for! Little wonder why medical practitioners have found themselves in politics; another avenue that allows the right-sensed to add and sustain value in the lives of the people.

For Doctor Emma Ajuogu, a long-standing Medical Practitioner. He is the immediate past Transition Committee Chairman of Ihitte/Uboma Local Government Area in Imo state; a Christian leader and a medical missionary. He has held several gospel crusades in virtually all the Local Government Areas in Okigwe zone with his Greater Etiti/Mbano for Christ crusade movement (at least his words somewhat interprets divinity)! Credited to his tenure are massive structural developments and renovations of structures within and outside the Local Government Council, like never before,many thanks to the developmentally charged efforts of the Governor, OwelleRochasOkorocha, who provided a solid base for his kind to deliver.

But there was for the Doctor a most unforgettable experience of inspiration cum state leadership support of encouragement and guidance that instituted a positive dimension to his political perspective. And this rattling positive political-leadership sensation transcends from none other but the Imo state Deputy Governor, Prince EzeMadumere!

Doctor Ajuogu passionately posits the inspiring features of the elegant Imo state Deputy Governor. He states: “I have never seen leadership exercised the way he (Prince EzeMadumere) does it. So free, open and accomodating, he has impacted his humility and simplicity into me. As a medical Doctor and politician, I have well-handled many challenges, but not without the rigorsthat come with achieving solutions. But our Deputy Governor handles problems with a very uncommon simplicity. Intelligently too, he provides answers, ensuring he carries everyone along with a team-play drive; I can now see why he continues to climb. Ask my wife, I am endeared to his leadership! Infact, EzeMadumere has completely won my admiration. Boldly, I am magnetized to his mentorship. Thank God for Mr Governor for giving us someone likePrince EzeMadumere”.

Just one out of so many who continue to attestto the great leadership character of the Imo state Deputy Governor; for the man on the spot-light, Prince EzeMadumere, ironically, how he manages to keep his cool and not get carried away by inundated encomiums remains a surprise to many, which completely defeats the political habit of politicians from this part of the world.

Dissecting Dr. Ajuogu’s appraisal of good Governance in Imo state through today’s sound leadership ably led by His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha, calls for the institution of continuity. Owelle’s aura is captured in Madumere, though they may not naturally have same leadership features, but they share the same developmental ideology that enshrines a sustainable people-oriented leadership. After all, it is said that a “lion only begets a lion”. Owelle Rochas Okorocha has produced his political type, which comes with extras though, as every father would desire of their children. Thank God for today’s visionary strengths in the leadership of Owelle and Madumerewhoserescue mission only sees and tackle people-oriented issues in an endeared sincerity of purpose to apeople’s course! Yes, Doctor Emma Ajuogu, may have further added his voice to the reality and truth which already pervades our dear Imo state, giving birth to the sparkles of today. How much of these uncommon leadership traits are appreciated. Today’s Imo drives home a new beginning enveloped in positive change; in encouragement, contribute your part!  God bless Imo state!
